The Art Of Life: Jam Master Jay Way

In this exclusive interview by DJ Xxxotic Mami, she steps from behind the station microphone and into the streets of Queens, NY to meet with legendary Art1. For those who don't know who he is, Art1 is the man who worked from sunrise to sunset to stray paint the custom mural of Jam Master Jay located in Hollis Queens. (Hollis Ave & 204th to be exact)

Art 1 is a guy from Brooklyn with major ambition whom decided to make one of this dreams, reality. He did that by paying homage to one of the greatest DJ's EVER! Jam Master Jay is from the group Run DMC, who taught you how to "Walk This Way". They stepped on the scene, changing the sound of rap music by teaming up with Aerosmith,introducing a different style to street fashion (My Adidas) and giving music new life! Unforunately, Jason Mizell passed away in 2002 and thats where the creativity was inspired for this mural.
