Her name is Karen Blanco aka The Silent Celeb from the Bronx.... She may be new to my ears but the streets are saying her voice been shaking the streets. Just when I thought R&B music was fading, a few artist have proved me wrong this year. Blanco's voice being one of them. It's sultry to say the least. The composition of her songs are genius and soothing to the ear. The Silent Celebrity Project is definitely a top notch independent piece of art.

The Silent Celeb released her EP in a private listening event which had an awesome turnout. While I wasn't able to attend physically, I caught a glimpse through Facebook Live. The love was definitely in the building. As each track played, the crowd was captivated like they were attending a signed artist concert. My personal favorite songs are "Funny", "Quote Me" and "Possibilities". Not taking away from the rest of the EP, but those tracks set the tone for me (in a great way). I can hear those songs in the background of a fun-filled evening with that special somebody.
