Freaky Tah: LB Fam's Soldier

Today, March 28, 1999 we celebrate the life and legacy of Raymond Rogers better known as Freaky Tah. Freaky Tah was 1/4 member of the South Jamaica Queens group "The Lost Boyz" aside with Mr. Cheeks, Spigg Nice and Pretty Lou. Freaky Tah was an MC and one of the greatest hypemen in the game. He had the raspy voice with a custom sound that no one to this day could imitate. Freaky Tah was a great man of the community who made sure the kids who surrounded him were apart of a safe environment and headed down the right path.

If you asked my opinion, Freaky Tah was the person who highlighted the group and kept the energy going! If he was not on a track, it didn't feel right to me... He was truly the glue to the group. After his untimely death, The Lost Boyz tried to keep the legacy of the group alive but personal events quickly split them

apart.

In honor of Freaky Tah, every year his brother Jayball along with his "fam" gather together in various locations in Jamaica Queens for a day of BBQ called "Freaky Tah Day". The top choices are normally Lincoln Park, 72 park which is located in Rochdale Village and ending it with a party in a asecret location.

Freaky Tah is gone but never forgotten and his name lives on through his son Freaky Kah! #Salute
