In this week, 18 years ago, The Notorious B.I.G. aka Biggie Smalls whose one of Brooklyn's Finest dropped his album "Life After Death" ironically after his passing in 1997 . The double-disc classic album "Life After Death" which was released 16 days later, hit the No. 1 spot on the US charts and was certified Diamond in 2000. This album was epic with collaborations such as 112, Jay-Z, Lil' Kim, Mase, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, R. Kelly, The LOX, and Puff Daddy to name a few artist. Biggie Smalls "Life After Death"
Wallace was noted for his catchy lyrics such as being big, black and ugly as ever however he stayed Coogi down to the socks- Rings and watch filled with rocks- And my jam knock in your Mitsubishi- Girls pee pee when they see me- navajos creep me in they tee pee! Hands down, Big Poppa delivery was undeniable and made being big a trend.
After his untimely death, more albums were released, continuing the legacy of the late great Christopher Wallace. Biggie was certified and his sales reached 17 million units in the United States. Now, that's how life after death is supposed to go baby baby!!!
