Yes Black Girls Rock! In so many ways that you wouldn't ever realise. From the frame of your face, to the unique way you learn to the environment that surrounds you which teaches crucial life lessons! Yes you rock! I salute the little girls orf the world that are smart enough to know their worth and push through peer pressure and face reality head on.

Tonight, The BET Network along with Black Girls Rock Inc, will be airing a special to highlight the Black Girls/Women who rock. This organization was founded by Beverly Bond and formed with the message to build girls through leadership,education and self-worth. Black Girls Rock inc. builds self esteem in the community for young developing women. They help to change the perspective on life and instill hope, love, unity and peace.

This year, Black Girls Rock will be hosted by Regina King and Tracee Ellis-Ross honoring Jada Pinkett Smith, singer Erykah Badu, actress Cicely Tyson, “Selma” director Ava DuVernay, educator Nadia Lopez and

, president and CEO of CARE USA, which is a humanitarian organization.
