To once again write another article about the injustice of the judical system against the African-American community saddens me. Another person life was taken by America's finest police department.
Many victims end with cases without justice served, but do you think it prevail this time around? Lets talk about the most global case to date, Walter Scott. A 50 year old man from North Charleston, S.C was assulted, murdered and then framed once his lifeless body was handcuffed.
The officer involved, Michael T. Slager, 33, who has been charged with the murder of Walter Scott claimed he had feared for his life because his stun gun was taken in a minor tussle. Apparently, Mr. Scott was stopped for a broken tail light of his vehicle, didn't feel safe in the presence of the officer that approached him,
so decided to remove himself from a situation that would have a bad result... Not knowing the result was going to be bad either way.
While watching the heavy circulated YouTube video captured by a bystander, it shows Officer Slager dropping his stungun from his safety belt, pulling his firearm out and shooting Walter Scott multiple times in the back while Mr. Scott tried to run away. Once Mr. Walter was deceased, Slager radios for backup but not before he retrieves the stungun that he dropped and stages it next to Walter Scott's body.
My question is, what would the outcome be if this person had not filmed this incident or more witnesses didn't come forward? I think we all know the answer to that. It is sad, fustrating and infuriates me to see that America will never have justice towards the African-American community. Even after conviction of Slager, there will be retaliation against the young man that filmed the event and the people who took the stand to bring justice to his horrific event

. Please keep that young man and his family in prayer.
Black Lives Matter.
