Everyone always ask me why I focus so much on Black Lives Matter and why not on other topics. It's simply because African-Americans are still the slaves, targets and enemies of America, no matter which way you look at it. It has been that way since noted in history and it will continue to be that way unitl God destroys the Earth. Let me explain why I feel such a way. We can definitely date everything back to the times of slavery when we were forced in, to, and from the "West Indies" which was already land that was not discovered but already established land. The Europeans needed to learn our culture and way of living, so they forced their disease, slavery and ultimately their bloodline into our community but not acknowledge the fact that they invaded our land.
Let me fast forward to 2015 because some people won't digest the language I'm speaking and for that, I encourage you to read and know your history. Today in society, African-Americans are targeted more than any other race and why do you think that is? My feelings are half and half. Some people from the Black community give the government a sloid reason to mess with us. From sagging pants, to disrespecting themselves, the community and establishments. The other half is the fact that majority of the community is guilty by association. We have successful African-Americans in powerful places and willing to do something with their lives and not be normal. Because we are Black, we are labeled before we speak and once we speak... the deal is solitified.
I sit and wonder why are we grand ol America and yet we are doing way worse than other countries (3rd world to add to it) in the world when it comes to violence, profiling and killing. The answer is... Other countries are not as much mixed raced as America. In America, we will let any nationality enter and welcome them along with their family. Other places like China, Colombia, Denmark, Cuba, etc tend to stay within their race. Now don't get me wrong, a lot of ethnicities will visit those places but will not live there and to me, that makes the difference. This plays a part with racial profiling as well. A Caucasian person will not have a hard time in America than a person of Color and that is a fact. It is sad but true.
My question next is what can we do as a community to help eliminate us being targets? Can we ever escape that reality that we are just that? People only seem to want to protest when the police kill our kind but then it slowly fades and we resume back to normality. All the media does is put something degrading, brutal or ratchet on tv and they have our attention. The attention is quickly shifted to something that doesn't matter and that leaves all the important topic to be swept under the rug. What will it take for everyone to see that Black Lives Matter?
Please weigh in and subscribe. I would love to hear feedback and some input of what we can do to make Black Lives Matter,
