Black Lives Rock" Ivy League Edition

Meet some African-American high school students that were picked to attend more than 5 Ivy League Colleges.
Munira Khalif, is an 18 year old young woman who attends Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was shocked to hear that she was accepted to 8 Ivy School and 3 other normal schools. Munira was born and raised in Minnesota but her parents were not. They fled Somalia during the civil war to create a safe enviroment and have a chance at living a better life. Manira feels inspired to work extra hard because of the sacrifice and opportunities her family provided for her. She was 1 of 9 youths in the world to receive the UN Special Envoy for Global Education's Youth Courage Award for her education activism.
The schools that Munira Khalif was accepted to that were labeled Ivy League are:
-Brown University
-Columbia University
- Cornell University
-Dartmouth College
-Harvard University
-The University of Pennsylvania
-Princeton University &
-Yale University
Munira was also accepted to Stanford, Georgetown and the Universtiy of Minnesota. She is a Black Girl Who Rocks! Salute to all the accomplishments she has made and whats to come for her.

Victor Agbafe, is currently a student at Cape Fear Academy located in Wilmington, North Carolina. He has no idea what college will attend but he does know he wants to become a neurosurgeon. Victor also plans to major in microbiology along with government economics.
Victor was accepted to 14 schools in total. 8 were Ivy League school as well as Stanford and Duke. He credits his mother who is a Nigerian immigrant and physician. He did not let obstaclesl his mother faced keep him down, he worked hard to make her proud and he has donw it!.

Meet Harold Ekeh, an 18-year-old Long Island student who was accepted by 14 colleges, and all Ivy League schools! He is still undecided but is leaning towards Yale. Harold hopes to study neuroscience to cure Alzheimer's, a disease many elderly people suffer from including his grandmother.
Harold is a straight-A student at Elmont Memorial High School that scored 2270 on his SAT exam. He also worked as editor-in-chief of his student newspaper and chief executive of the Model United Nations.
These children are the epitomy of hardwork and dedication. Black Lives Matter and they are the future on a rise! Stay tuned to see more highlights of these amazing children!
